Assistance with check issued to previous address in a different country
Dear Customer Service Team at IberiaBank,
I am writing to you to request your assistance with an issue I have encountered regarding a check that was issued to me by IberiaBank.
Last year, a check was created in my name and sent to my previous address in my home country of Colombia. However, I have not resided at this address for the past six years, and I only recently received the check at my current residence in Australia.
As you may know, no Australian bank accepts international checks, which has created a problem for me in accessing the funds, also, the check was issued more than a year ago on the 24th on March 2022.
Therefore, I kindly request that you deposit the amount of the check into my account instead.
Please find attached the check and my personal details.
